Our Family, Our Home
My name is Basu Chetteri and this homestay is an extension of our own home. Generations of our family have called this beautiful corner of Mim Tea Garden our sanctuary, and it is with immense joy that we open our doors to you. We believe in genuine hospitality, treating every guest as part of our extended family. You’ll often find us tending to our garden, enjoying a cup of local tea on the porch, sharing stories of the region.

Our ancestors were among the pioneers who transformed the lush slopes of Mim Tea Garden into thriving tea estates. With their dedication and vision, they shaped a legacy that continues to flourish today. Their passion for cultivating these lands inspires everything we do, creating a bond between the tea garden and our cherished guests.
Living amidst this sea of green has instilled in us a profound appreciation for nature’s rhythm and the simple joys of life. It was this love for our home and the desire to share its tranquility that inspired us to open Kanchanjunga View Homestay.
